A fun and purpose built room for all the ‘Little People’
Located on the outskirts of the East Yorkshire village of Hook, Daisychain is ideal for families in Goole and Howden. Our bright, colourful and inviting nursery presents four main playrooms that provide everything young children need to learn, play and be creative.
The large playground includes grassy areas, a climbing frame and trampoline, and a small allotment for little ones to get involved in. We encourage outdoor sessions whenever possible, giving the children the opportunity to enjoy some fresh air, make new friends and stay active.
Daisychain is registered for 48 children under the age of 8. Providing homemade meals that can cater for special dietary requirements, your child will love being part of our community. We also offer an out of school club that can accommodate 20, supporting parents with particularly busy schedules.
With every member of the team holding recognised childcare qualifications, a first aid certificate and an up-to-date DBS check, you know that your child will be cared for in an environment that is safe and reliable as well as fun and comfortable.
Daisychain Nursery prides itself on the range of educational and recreational environments specially created for young children. With space, comfort, safety and creativity as key factors, children have everything they need to learn, play, make, share and do.
On the first floor you’ll find the baby room, which has been designed for crawling, taking those wobbly first steps, and making lots of mess with baby-friendly materials.
Next to this is the toddler room, separated by room dividers that allow the two age groups to mix. This means that siblings that are close in age can still share their nursery experience together, despite being in different rooms. Thanks to this space having both carpet and vinyl flooring, little ones enjoy everything from singing and dancing, to sand and water activities, messy crafts, and exploring their vibrant and secure environment.
The early preschool room is on the ground floor. Children join this group around the age of three, getting involved in activities such as role-play, construction, reading, painting and mark making.
The older children play in the preschool room, also on the ground floor. Here they get to access lots of toys, learning resources and a computer. With ample room for letting off steam and a quiet area for reading, children have everything they need to flourish.
Our beautiful outdoor area is divided into three sections. The large grassy space with fruit and veg patch, climbing apparatus, wooden fort and trampoline is perfect for burning off energy, keeping active and exploring the natural world. Meanwhile, the large wet pour area is home to a playhouse, chalkboards and digging plot, which are perfect for releasing the imagination. Then there’s the all-weather grass zone, with smaller apparatus for the younger ones to enjoy together.
